About

Joshua J. Clark

I blend ministry, business, and education into a unified perspective with a single purpose — making disciples. I help individuals, teams, and organizations navigate the tension between following and leading, recognizing that both are essential. Faith and work do not have to clash; together, they can fuel greater productivity and fulfillment. Ultimately, christians are in the business of making disciples.

My expertise is grounded in experience, education, and results. Over the past decade, I’ve done everything from scrubbing toilets to founding organizations. I’ve helped businesses expand from local to national operations, built a marketing department for a digital media company, and facilitated millions in revenue for a Fortune 100 company. These diverse roles have shaped my understanding of Customer Experience (CX) and Organizational Development (OD).

To complement my business experience, I’ve earned several degrees and am currently a doctoral candidate at Regent University, specializing in biblical servant leadership. I have also taught as an adjunct professor for 5 years. My message on leadership and discipleship has been shared internationally through academic publications, conferences, pulpits, and online platforms, reaching thousands worldwide.

My Background

This page highlights my past experience and education. What you will notice is a diverse background, spanning secular business operations, academia, and ministry. It is incredible to see how God has worked through my life, integrating these experiences into a singular mission: to make disciples by teaching people to follow Jesus and lead others.

As I reflect on my experience, I am in awe of what God has done through me. I never imagined pursuing a doctorate degree, working with successful businesses, publishing my writings, or presenting my work around the world. However, God has seen this through, all for His glory. None of this is because of my own doing, and I am blessed to be used by Him in such a way.

Additional Professional Experience

Beyond the background displayed here, I have over a decade of experience in various business roles, including marketing, sales, management, and non-profit executive membership. These roles have shaped the way I work and helped me develop clear frameworks around organizational development and customer experience.

My business, background, education, and ministry passion provide a firm foundation for developing disciples, which starts with the individual, regardless of the scale one wants to initiate change. If you would like to explore how discipleship practices can help you develop as an individual, team, or organization, please don't hesitate to reach out.
