Thanks for taking the time to learn more about us. We strive to connect those unconnected. We recognize that people are in different parts of their journey. For many people, they are unable to find connection and grow spiritually in traditional ways. This site is designed to provide connection and content fully online.

All about us

the.SALT creates a space for people who are not currently connected into a Christian community. Too many people today, feel disconnected with no close relationships. However, the bible and research agree on our need for close relationships. The more connected a person is, the happier and healthier they are.

Here are a few examples of why people may not have community:

A husband and wife with a few young children find it difficult to muster up the time or energy to meet with others in person.
A busy professional that works their tail off does not know where to start in connecting with people beyond the office and LinkedIn doesn't count.
Newlyweds want to grow in their faith but are not connected in a church and only have friends who are not the best influences or in different walks of life.
A remote worker, who lives most of their life at home finds it difficult to leave the house, especially into a church group.
Someone who use to be connected to a church but was hurt by someone or the church itself and finds it difficult to trust a church.
A person is a part of a church, but they do not provide a virtual option for connection and in-person does not work for them.
Someone is not a Christian and has their doubts about God but respects those who do and would love to learn more about the bible and who Jesus is.

Whatever the circumstances, the truth is we all need more healthy relationships and a firmer understanding of the bible. All of us need to grow closer to God and closer to each other. If you have been looking for a place to connect, this maybe it.

We are a Christian organization that uses the bible for everything. We are not affiliated with a particular church or denomination. We recognize that the most ideal situation is for people to be connect in-person with a church that fits them. However, this is a space for those who do not have that in the immediate. This may be someone's first attempt to learn about the bible and see who Jesus is. This may be a steppingstone until someone finds a church. Whatever the reason this provides an opportunity to connect and learn.

Everything belongs to God. The gifts and resources provided to us are to be steward with the highest integrity. A final account on how well these are managed will be made before God.

Joshua & Shirlee Clark

Co-Founders: CEO & Director of Family Care

Joshua serves as the CEO and is an experienced educator, consultant, published author, and researcher with a passion for leadership, communication, and spiritual development. Invited internationally to present his research, he leverages his expertise in leadership and biblical studies to inspire growth and transformation in individuals and organizations.

Shirlee serves as the Director of Family Care of and is a licensed therapist and expert in mental health, dedicated to helping individuals and families thrive. She is a devoted wife and mother who gracefully balances running a household and raising three young children with love and faith. Her passion for God and commitment to her family inspire her to integrate faith, and wisdom into the ministry’s mission.

Tyler Urann

Co-Founder & COO

Tyler is an accomplished entrepreneur who has founded multiple businesses, achieving significant success before transitioning to ministry. With a degree in Ministry and Biblical Studies, he combines strategic business expertise and a passion for the gospel to drive the ministry’s mission of enhancing lives and fostering deeper connections with God and others.

Mike Urann

Treasurer

Mike is a seasoned business owner with years of experience successfully managing and growing his own enterprise, demonstrating strong leadership and financial expertise. A dedicated husband and father, he is committed to balancing family values with his professional pursuits. As Treasurer, he brings valuable financial insight and strategic guidance to support the mission, sustainability, and growth of our ministry.
